The China
Grand Theater, subordinated to general political department Song & Dance Ensemble,
was built up in Sep, 1984. Over a decade of years, it has received many famous
performance group in and out of the army from home and abroad. Therefore, it is
one of the important culture activity places in the capital--Beijng.
China Grand Theater has advanced push and pull lift mechanical stage and orchestra,
which offers excellent assurance for the art treatment of performance;The scientific
and rational sound establishment and reinforcement system and top acoustics recording
equipment let the high grade and high rank large-scale symphonic concert have
best audiovisual effect.In addition, the luxury illmination in the hall, the 1500
luxury and cozy seats in the audience hall and big and small VIP drawing rooms
which can hold 100 people can all show the splendid and luxury style of China
Grand Theater.The entrance of the theater is 15 meters wide, 8 meters high and 21 meters deep. There are altogether 3 dressing rooms, totalled 10 small and big dressing rooms and dressing rooms for special profiles, plus underground dressing rooms, they can hold as many as 1000 actors and other personnel.What's more there is a more than 200 square meters of multi-track recording studio and high speed recording division with daily production 8000 cassette tapes, therefore, a comprehensive service system including performance, recording and tape production is formed. There is a Dance Designing Engineering Department with powerful strengths in China Grand Theater, whose director Bi Qiliang is first grade artistic designer, director of China Dance Academy and member of Chinese Performer Association,while political assistant Meng Wei is a memeber of Terpsichorean Association and dance director.The department has a group of managers with strong strengths on dance design, computer graphics, light design, acoustics design and dance production majordomo. Over the years, the theater has handled and accomplished a large number of domestic and foreign entertainment parties and the design and production of TV video recording's dance, light and acoustics. In addition, a comprehensive top service system including perfect stage, rehearsing and performance management system is available. The perfect security safeguard system and united high skilled monitor system in China Grand Theater provide reliable security assurance for all important political activities.
